Dr. Mike Yang with over 10 years of experience in the field, always excels to leave our patients in the best condition possible. Dr. Mike Graduated from University of Waterloo, school of optometry and vision science, in 2013 and got his certificate issued on August 15th, 2013. Dr. Mike is also the President of Research at Prism Eye Institute where he specializes in MIGs glaucoma implants, presbyopia IOLs, and ophthalmology health policy research.
Children & their Vision
One out of every four children have a vision problem that can affect their learning and development. Over 80% of learning involves our vision. Common vision problems not detected and treated early can lead to lifelong visual disability and limit future career choices. Children with poor vision do not know what normal vision is. They often think everyone sees the same as they do. It is therefore important for parents to have their child’s eyes examined by age 3 and every year after.
